Sandwell Council is seeking an experienced and visionary Modern Slavery and Violence Prevention Programme Manager to lead the borough’s strategic response to exploitation, trafficking, and serious violence.
This is a high-profile leadership role within the Community Safety Service - responsible for ensuring Sandwell continues to deliver nationally recognised best practice in tackling modern slavery and implementing the Serious Violence Duty.
You will provide strategic and operational leadership on modern slavery, human trafficking, and exploitation, ensuring victims are protected, perpetrators are pursued, and partnerships remain strong across the public, private and voluntary sectors.
The role will lead Sandwell’s Anti-Slavery Partnership and Prevention of Violence and Exploitation (PoVE) programme, aligning delivery plans with the Safer Sandwell Partnership and statutory duties under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and Serious Violence Duty.
