You will take responsibility alongside our key corporate and wider partners for improving the lives of some of the most vulnerable children and young people in our communities, ensuring that the services we deliver are high quality and sustainable, whilst meeting their needs, and empowering those who are care experienced to flourish through reunification or in permanent alternative homes.

You will have a strong relational approach to leadership and be committed to respectful practice with children, families and communities. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of what works well developed through successful delivery of previous improvements for children and care-experienced young people. Your strong strategic leadership skills will provide a platform to deliver the improvements we need at pace, keeping sight of national developments and policy change and ensuring Staffordshire can adapt, ensuring we have a significant impact on the lives of our children and young people.
