The Lee Valley Regional Park, with its attractive open spaces and modern leisure facilities, including the White-Water Canoe Centre at Waltham Cross, forms the eastern boundary. We have recently appointed a new Director of Place and now need an ambitious individual to help support the new Director in delivering our objectives for the Place Directorate as set out in our Corporate Pan, Local Plan, Economic Development Strategy and the Council’s ambitious Sustainability Strategy.  The delivery programme includes implementing our proposals for a brand-new transformative town centre for Broxbourne Borough at Brookfield Riverside through a £400m investment by the Council’s development partner.

This key role will strengthen our corporate function and support our sustainable growth, which will be front and centre of our strategic planning and future success.

You will be able to demonstrate experience in a senior management role in the public or private sector, you will also bring experience of successfully managing and delivering complex issues and have the motivation, influence and drive to support, lead and deliver on our corporate priorities.
