Breakfast Club Supervisor
Grade 1    £24,027 pro rata 
Temporary - required as soon as possible until April 2026
Mon-Fri, Term Time only, 08.00-09.00am

We are looking for a dedicated and creative Breakfast Club supervisor to join the thriving Breakfast Club at our friendly and welcoming primary school.  This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children at the beginning of the school day.

Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging activities that cater to a range of interests and age groups
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all children attending the club
• Supervise and support children's play, social interactions, and well-being
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and external agencies as needed
• Maintain health and safety standards and safeguarding procedures at all times

The successful applicant will:
• Have experience working with children in a play, childcare, or school setting
• Be a friendly, enthusiastic, and responsible individual who enjoys working with children
• Have strong organisational skills and the ability to lead a small team
• A commitment to providing a safe and engaging environment

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure.  You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
