Based in Clitheroe, close to the Lake District, North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales, Ribble Valley is a beautiful rural area which includes market towns and picturesque villages and a large part of the Forest of Bowland National Landscape.  Combine this with excellent schools and this offers an attractive setting in which to advance your career.

We are looking for someone with substantial HR Management experience, to be the strategic lead for HR across the Council and to provide expert advice to the Chief Executive, the Corporate Management Team and Heads of Service.  You will also be responsible for a small group of corporate services including Corporate Policy, Communications, Printing and Admin support.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and be a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  In addition, you will have excellent communication skills and a wealth of professional knowledge and expertise.  The ability to multi-task and effectively manage competing priorities is essential.
