What will I be doing?
As a technical expert in traffic engineering and Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), you will guide the city’s efforts in creating safer, more efficient, and sustainable streets. You will provide specialist advice to senior management, Councillors, and key stakeholders, driving initiatives that align with the Council’s transport vision while ensuring compliance with regulatory procedures.
This role places you at the forefront of delivering projects that embody the Healthy Streets Approach, a framework that prioritises streets as safe, vibrant, and accessible spaces for all. By focusing on health, well-being, and inclusivity, you will help design traffic systems that support active travel, reduce congestion, and foster a cleaner urban environment.
