We are looking for an individual with knowledge of the visitor economy, culture and creative industry sectors and their role in place-making. They will have the ability to network and build rapport with people quickly.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will work with the Strategic Manager - Tourism & Visitor Economy and Head of Culture Sport & Tourism to develop and manage internal and external international partnerships and connections that contribute to and increase the regional, national, and international profile of the county and visitor economy, culture and creative sectors in the county.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will be educated to degree level or have substantial relevant experience.
You should have experience of working in an international relations or partnership role and a proven track record of producing and implementing an international strategy.
You will have excellent project management skills from inception to completion including planning, implementing, budgeting, monitoring and reporting.

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
