We are the Educational Team for Hearing and Vision (ETHV) We offer a wide range of services to support children and young people who have been diagnosed with hearing and/or vision loss. The Role
To lead the team who provide support to children and young people with significant hearing and vision needs through effective leadership, planning and management of The Education Team for Hearing and Vision (ETHV).
This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills and abilities with the possibility of undertaking a two year degree level course to qualify as a Teacher of HI/VI/MSI in the future.
Please note: This is not a term time position and is a full time, permanent post.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and experienced educational leader with QTS to join and manage a large team of teachers, teaching assistants and other education professionals who support children and young people with hearing and/or vision needs.
You will have experience in leadership and supervision with the ability to support and encourage the professional development of your team. You must be genuinely committed to working collaboratively across multiple service areas with professionals and families to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
You will be joining a team where the ethos of ‘our children, our future’ is at the core of everything we do. You must be an approachable and dynamic leader who can bring relentless drive to our TeamNEL.
