The Role:

Exciting opportunities due to additional funding has arisen to work in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Complex OT service.

We are looking for Occupational Therapists with an interest to work within a growing, vibrant, and diverse team and will help in the delivery of OT services to residents with physical and long-term disabilities. Your role will include recommendations on adaptations to increase and maintain people’s independence with provision of equipment where appropriate, and ensure completed adaptations are satisfactory.

Our team consists of up to 10 Occupational therapists, an advanced practitioner Occupational Therapist and Occupational Therapist manager. You’ll be responsible for offering functional assessments and provide appropriate interventions including equipment, minor and major adaptations. You’ll be required to take a multi-disciplinary approach including working with social workers/ independent living assessors, surveyors whilst undertaking duties within Care Act 2018.

About You:

A qualified professional Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration, you have a firm belief that every voice in a community matters. Ideally, you will bring to the role proven experience both in frontline social care and as a practice educator. You will certainly demonstrate real empathy and collaborative spirit, together with the insight and confidence to assess and supervise others, and to ensure everyone delivers on the principles of the Care Act 2014 through excellence in practice.

The team is based in the Town Hall just off the vibrant and exciting High Street Kensington and operate using the hybrid model.
