We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Active Fenland team at Fenland District Council, in delivering a Level 4 Diabetes Programme.

The applicant will need to hold a minimum of a Level 3 Exercise Referral Qualification, to deliver these classes in an effective way.

The successful candidate must show confidence and knowledge to deliver these sessions to groups of people.

Confidence and knowledge behind the delivery of these classes will benefit communities in various locations in the Fenland District. Participants are people who have self-referred due to having Diabetes or have received a referral from a medical professional or Diabetes advisor.

Candidates must hold a valid full UK Driving License and have access to their own transport or be able to easily travel to each session around the Fenland District.

Fenland District Council is committed to safeguarding & the welfare of children, young people & vulnerable adults and expects all employees and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will have attended a Safeguarding Children Workshop, within the last 3 years and will be required to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring service (DBS) check, and be in receipt of a First Aid Certificate, within the last 3 years.
