We are now recruiting a Policy and Scrutiny Project Officer to provide support on policy development, implementation and scrutiny in line with the priorities and ambitions of Westmorland & Furness Council.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual with knowledge and experience of providing scrutiny and evidence-led policy advice.

The purpose of the role is to provide policy advice and support to senior officers and elected members with the development of council policy and strategy; support for scrutiny activity; support to senior officers and elected members with their engagement in government affairs, outside bodies and partnerships; and undertaking of policy horizon scanning, research and analysis.
