At Sheffield City Council we are recruiting to 2 x 24hr Practice Development Co-ordinators (Quality Assurance and Development) posts in Adults Care and Wellbeing Service.

Both posts will sit within our Chief Social Work Office under the Workforce Development Manager. They will work closely with colleagues across Adults Care and Wellbeing in Sheffield.

These roles will play a vital role in supporting our Adult Social Care workforce to grow, develop and access learning and qualifications as part of their roles.

Duties will include undertaking NVQ qualification assessment and quality assurance at levels 2, 3 & 5 in Health & Social Care qualifications in accordance with the City & Guilds awarding body.

Post holders will hold an NVQ Assessor qualification. This may include CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32 D33 Assessing Award or D34 or V1 or equivalent.

Post hold will also hold relevant qualifications in your relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualification in the Lifelong Learning and Skills Sector (eg, CTTLS, DTTLS, Award in Education L4).

Roles will take a leading role on championing learning and development in Adult Social Care in Sheffield. They will develop and deliver learning events in Sheffield. They will ensure a fair distribution of access to qualifications across Adults Care and Wellbeing Service.
