This is an exciting time to join the Account Management Team at Rotherham Borough Council.

We are looking to recruit a Revenues and Benefits Officer working in the Debt Recovery team in Account Management, which is responsible for the delivery of Council Tax, National Non-Domestic Rates, Benefit Overpayments and Sundry Debts.

You will deliver excellent customer service to members of the public including the accurate and speedy processing of customer accounts for council tax and/or national non-domestic rates, often involving debt negotiation.

You must have the ability to use a range of computer applications and be highly organised. You will be an excellent communicator and decision maker who is able to work as part of a team as well as independently. You will be dedicated and committed and will positively embrace change.

You will benefit from our hybrid working arrangements which means we can offer a flexible approach to working remotely and in the office to accommodate the needs of the service.
