Working closely with the Biological Records Officer, and reporting to the Principal Biodiversity Officer, the role will lead on the operation and development of Doncaster Local Records Centre (DLRC). The role will ensure that existing ALERC accreditation standards are maintained and work to design and deliver service improvements to meet growing demands for ecological data. The role will work closely with colleagues in the Planning Policy and Environment Team to respond to data needs and opportunities associated with the Council’s Biodiversity Duty, Local Nature Recovery Strategy work and Biodiversity Net Gain work, whilst also supporting other Council services, responding to data requirements of external clients and promoting the Local Records Centre service.
