Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council’s Urban Design & Building Services Division is looking to employ a Senior Lead Engineer – Demolition, as a part of its specialist demolition team.

This role is ideal for someone who brings leadership, collaboration, innovation and expertise in demolition to successfully manage complex projects under the NEC 3 contracts for internal and external clients.

You will be working alongside a creative, multi-disciplinary team of professionals (Architects, Landscape Architects, Structural Engineers, Property Surveyors, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and associated co-ordination staff) on a wide range of exciting projects including schools, industrial estates, public buildings and housing, the latter includes high-rise by both explosive & long-reach machine.

Requirements:

• GCSE English & Maths A-C.

And must be either a:

• Registered Architect
• Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer
• Chartered Architectural Technologist
• Chartered Landscape Architect
• Member of the Institute of Demolition Engineers

Must have a relevant degree or have a minimum of 5 years varied and relevant experience (including at least 1 year experience gained since obtaining Registered/Chartered status).
