Environmental Health and Community Protection Unit need two officers with experience of delivering Customer service and administrative support in order to support its services.
The Community Protection Unit deals with Environmental Health and Anti-Social Behaviour issues on a Neighbourhood Area basis both proactively and in response to high level of customer service demand. These roles will impact on functions right across the service including:
You will be expected to deal with a range of customer enquiries across all access channels including; face to face, telephone and email, providing customers with accurate, clear, relevant and high quality advice and information, as well as carrying out procurement and financial tasks.
The role includes issuing first stage warnings in some investigatory matters, and also robust triaging and information or intelligence build up before referral for further investigation by senior enforcement staff.
You must be enthusiastic, a good team worker with commitment, flexibility, and with a capability of working on your own initiative. You will need to demonstrate positive skills in establishing and developing productive working relationships and also deliver against personal and team targets.
Additional training will be provided to ensure the right candidates have the skills to do the job effectively.
