The conference will be hosted by Stephen Cirell. Stephen is an author, commentator and advisor on climate change, low-carbon and renewable energy. He specialises on working with local authorities to prepare plans and strategies for their climate emergencies.

10:05 Baroness Finlay is a Welsh doctor, professor of palliative medicine, and a Crossbench member of the House of Lords. She is also chair of the CO Research Trust, a charity aiming to reduce the incidents of death and serious injury caused by carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning.

10:50 Larissa Lockwood, Director of Clean Air at charity Global Action Plan

12:00 Professor Stephen Holgate, The University of Southampton, Royal College of Physicians Special Adviser on air quality and author of the report that found that air pollution contributed to the death of nine-year-old Ella Kissi-Debrah.

12:45 Lunch

13:45 Felicity Aston MBE, Antarctic scientist, author, speaker and expedition leader. Felicity is leading the B.I.G North Pole Expedition, an all-female team that are skiing to the North Pole to collect crucial data on black carbon and microplastic pollution.

14:30 Jemima Hartshorn, former Human Rights Lawyer and founder of Mums for Lungs, the campaign group that aims to raise awareness of the toxic levels of pollution in London and how it affects young children.

15:45 Elliot Treharne, Head of Air Quality and Assistant Director for Environment and Energy at Greater London Authority.

16:40 Discussion Panel – Audience Q&A with 5 experts from the sector. The panel will include Katie Nield, Clean Air Lawyer for ClientEarth, Rosamund Kissi-Debrah, co-founder of the Ella Roberta Family Foundation and Mother of Ella Kissi-Debrah, the first person in the world to have air pollution on their death certificate and Chris Hook, Global Sustainability Lead at Uber.
