We are looking for a Business and Performance Manager to manage the Transport Services
Business Support function and small team.
We require someone with an up-to-date knowledge of Transport legislation and for ensuring compliance with legal requirements relating to vehicle insurance, licensing and testing.
Having experience of managing Health and Safety in the workplace, staff wellbeing and ensuring compliance with Policies and Procedures is a key part of the role.
Managing the fleet management software, IT systems and creating reports to support the business along with management and interrogation of the financial accounting systems is a vital part of the role.
You will be responsible for the management of the Councils fuel sites ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
You will also manage the vehicle hire function and pool car provision to support Councils services.
You will also be responsible for the Management of all fleet items from their delivery to disposal and to create, interpret and provide performance data.
