Job Title: Deputy Income Maximisation Manager

Salary Range: £44,773 - £54,254 per annum

Permanent- Fulltime (36 Hours)

Location: 90 Putney Bridge Road,London, SW18 1HR.

Objective of role

Do you have experience as an Income Manager or are you an aspiring Income Manager? This role will provide you with the opportunity to make a valuable difference to our homeless households in temporary accommodation. You will be managing a team who work to reduce debt by maximising income and giving effective debt management advice.

About the role

Management – you will lead and manage a multifunctional team of Income Maximisation Officers across two boroughs

Income Recovery – do you have experience in income recovery and income maximisation to ensure effective rent collection and the Councils debt is reduced.

Benefits knowledge – a good working knowledge of the welfare benefits system, particularly in relation to homeless applicants

Front line service - Experience of working with the public and particularly vulnerable people

Collaborative working – Working collaboratively with other teams and services as well as external partners

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team

Commitment to maintaining and improving the quality of services provided

Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of people

Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced front-line service

First rate problem solver and able to use own initiative.

The ability to use information technology to a high standard and proven literacy and numeracy skills
