We are looking for 2 x Resourcing and Workforce Planning Officers to join our busy Resourcing and Talent Management team. One post is permanent, and one is temporary until 31st March 2028.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
As a key member of our Resourcing team, you’ll play a crucial role in implementing effective recruitment, retention, and talent management strategies across Durham County Council. You’ll work closely with managers to provide advice on policies and procedures, ensuring a high-quality, consistent recruitment process that supports communities across the county.
What You’ll Be Doing:
This is an exciting opportunity to shape recruitment strategies, stabilise workforce planning, and contribute to a forward-thinking approach to resourcing across Durham County Council.
WHAT WILL I NEED?
You will need CIPD Level 3, or a relevant equivalent qualification, and the following experience, skills and knowledge:

HYBRID WORKING
Durham County Council currently operates a hybrid working policy where a model of 2 days in the workplace and 3 days at home/remote will apply. This model is pro-rated for part time roles and arrangements are at managers discretion, alternatively you can work all of your contracted hours within the workplace if you prefer.
