We are seeking a visionary and commercially astute leader to join our senior team as Director of Commercial and Investment, someone who thrives on structuring complex deals, building new capability, and delivering tangible outcomes that transform places and lives.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the commercial future of a combined authority at the forefront of public investment. You will lead a new in-house Commercial and Investment function, combining commercial and contracts, procurement, and investment. Your commercial expertise will help mature EMCCA’s investment pipeline, enable and structure complex programmes,
participate in joint ventures and equity investments, and deliver and commercially manage regional partnerships and services.

You will take the lead on EMCCA’s most ambitious initiatives, from driving innovative partnerships to shaping future initiatives like Midlands Mind forge. As a corporate player, you will work across the organisation, collaborating to create bold commercial solutions that deliver real regional impact. This is a fantastic opportunity, and this role offers you the chance to influence decisions at the highest level, shape a new function from the ground up, and work on transformative programmes that will leave a lasting legacy for the East Midlands.
