An exciting opportunity has arisen to take on a newly created role of EOTIS Coordinator at The Woodlands.
The Woodlands will be taking over the commissioning of education for pupils requiring an EOTIS (Education Other Than In School) package.
This key role will be responsible for coordinating and allocating education provision for pupils, ensuring a high-quality education offer that meets individual needs.
The post holder will have oversight of:
• Coordinating and allocating appropriate EOTIS education provision.
• Quality assuring the education offer and curriculum available.
• Monitoring attendance and engagement.
• Ensuring safeguarding arrangements are robust and effective.
• Working closely with internal staff, external providers, families, and professionals.
The Woodlands is a Pupil Referral Unit that supports pupils who have been permanently excluded from school, are at risk of exclusion, or are medically unable to attend mainstream education.
The successful candidate must:
• Have experience working with vulnerable children and young people.
• Have a strong understanding of alternative provision and EOTIS arrangements.
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and coordination skills
• Have knowledge of safeguarding, attendance, and statutory responsibilities.
• Be able to quality assure educational provision and curriculum offer.
• Communicate effectively with a range of professionals, pupils, and families.
• Be committed to inclusion, pupil wellbeing, and improving outcomes.
