A vacancy has arisen within Member Services for two Drivers working with the current Civic Chauffeur. These posts are casual and will be as and when required to provide additional support to the service.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
You will provide an efficient and effective official transport facility for Civic Post Holders and will be expected to drive official vehicles on authorised journeys in line with the Durham County Council Driver and Operators Handbook.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should have Categories B and D1 driving licence (101) for licences issued after 1st January 1997 and Group A for licence groups passed before 1st January 1997 and also have experience of operating category B and D1 vehicles (car, people carrier (MPV) and mini bus).

If successful, you will be required to undertake and pass an in-house driving assessment as part of our pre-employment checks before any offer of appointment can be confirmed.
