DEPUTY HEADTEACHER
LPR  L8 (£61,534) to L12 (£67,898)
Permanent, full time.
Required to start 1st September 2026.
 
Blackhall Primary is a larger than average sized, popular school with happy, enthusiastic learners. We have an established senior leadership team, who are committed to embedding an ambitious curriculum, driving standards of teaching and learning and continuing to improve outcomes for all children. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and influential leader to work alongside the Headteacher and SLT to continue to deliver our vision for the school.
 
The Governors are seeking to appoint a committed, experienced and enthusiastic professional with a proven track record in leading a team, and the drive to ambitiously and creatively enhance our curriculum. A central part of the role is to help lead our aim of striking the best possible balance between academic progress, wellbeing and personal development. This role is at the core of our school life.
The successful candidate will be an ambitious, forward-thinking educational leader who can build good relationships. This role will be non-class based to allow the successful candidate to support our amazing staff team, lead teaching and learning, manage behaviour effectively and provide a high level of pastoral care to children and families. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the ongoing growth and development of Blackhall Primary.
 
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
