Evergreen is a thriving, nurturing specialist setting with 212 wonderful pupils with a range of Complex Needs, including SLD, ASC and PMLD. Many of our pupils have additional co-occurring needs such as ADHD. Our curriculum is highly personalised and adapted. It is designed to meet each child’s unique learning profile and help them achieve meaningful progress.

About the Role
As our SEN Teacher, you will:
Take responsibility for teaching and learning within a class of pupils, including planning, preparation and assessment
Ensure all pupils are engaged, motivated and progressing towards their individual outcomes
Lead, direct and deploy support staff effectively to promote outstanding learning
Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the class and wider school
Work closely with leaders, therapists and families to provide the best possible experience for every child.
Experience of teaching pupils with SEND and Autism is advantageous but not essential. All necessary training will be provided for the right candidate. What matters most is your enthusiasm, creativity, reflective approach and resilience.
