We require for September 2026, a class teacher to join our dedicated, hardworking staff, who puts the needs of our children at the forefront of their practice.
The successful candidate will become part of a supportive team and dedicated staff who have high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude towards our children’s academic, social and personal development.
The successful candidate will:
• Be an excellent classroom practitioner with recent, effective and successful teaching experience working with primary aged children
• Have a working knowledge and effective understanding of how to sequence and progressively build learning for all pupils across a series of lessons and within a lesson
• Have high expectations of children’s achievement and progress
• Have the ability to adapt teaching to the needs of all children including those with SEND and those who are more able.
• Have the ability to accelerate pupil progress and raise attainment
• Be able to work as part of a team and foster positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents and governors
• Be prepared to make a valuable contribution to Cotsford Primary School with a desire to be involved in all aspects of school life
• Have effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Have high standards of behaviour and a clear ability to effectively use positive behaviour strategies.
• Have a clear willingness to respond to and act upon advice following constructive, professional dialogue.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
