Wakefield Exchange is a major new creative and cultural venue in the heart of Wakefield. It hosts events ranging from large music gigs and exhibitions, to Northern Soul and Comicons.
The post holder will deputise for the General Manager and play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operations of Wakefield Exchange with specific responsibilities for building management, tech and event management.This is a wide-ranging position, and we will provide on-going support, such as training, to enable the post holder to fulfil all aspects of the job.
The overall responsibility of this post includes providing a lead for the coordination, development and delivery of onsite lighting and audio-visual technology. Alongside this the role will also support the operation of WX through:
Managing the building to ensure its smooth operation and security.
