The Royal Borough of Greenwich is creating a new Renters Rights Enforcement Team to respond to the introduction of the Renter Rights Act.
This is a key leadership role at the forefront of transforming how we protect tenants and improve standards in the private rented sector.
The Act brings major changes to tenancy law, strengthening tenants rights and places new duties on Councils. You will ensure the Council meets these duties in a clear, fair and effective way.
As the Renters Rights Enforcement Manager you will lead a specialist team responsible for delivering the Council's statutory duties relating to unlawful eviction, harassment, discrimination and unfair rent practices.
You will also work closely with Housing, Environmental Health, Legal Services and Trading Standards to deliver a joined up service for residents.
