A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for a 37 hrs Administration Officer, temporary for 18 months.

WHAT IS INVOLVED
You will provide a comprehensive, robust administrative support service which supports the Care Leavers/UASC and One Point and Families First Team members to assist them to deliver a high-quality service, which meets the needs of children, young people and families.
 
The duties include:

  • Providing core administrative functions to support the work of the Specialist Teams;
  • Overseeing the provision of administrative support to staff within designated buildings, including day to day allocation of work.
  • Processing finance payments, paying invoices, tracking of financial records
  • Recording and administering petty cash and general financial records
  • Supporting the Team Leader, Service Support, in the delivery of all buildings management functions;
  • Providing proactive support to inspection arrangements, e.g. file preparation, and provide a liaison role where appropriate

We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer-service.

You will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should have NVQ 3 Business Administration or equivalent
