We’re looking for a Clinical Assurance and Quality Facilitator to join our supportive and experienced Clinical Assurance and Quality team at North East Lincolnshire Council.This is a part time position working 22 hours per week Wednesday - Friday.

What is the role all about? 

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping and strengthening clinical governance across local authority provider and commissioned services. You will work alongside clinicians, managers and senior leaders to provide assurance, drive continuous improvement, and support the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care.

What will your day look like? 

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of healthcare through strong clinical governance and continuous improvement. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team delivering high-profile work that directly impacts patient safety, quality of care and outcomes. 

No two days will feel the same. As a key member of the Clinical Assurance and Quality Team, you will: 

  • Lead and support a diverse portfolio of work across patient safety, risk management, clinical audit, assurance and compliance  
  • Help prepare and maintain Care Quality Commission (CQC) registration and readiness for inspection  
  • Deliver internal assurance activity and support services to develop and embed quality improvement plans  
  • Analyse data and performance information to identify risks, trends and learning  
  • Work with staff and service users to codesign improvements through workshops and engagement activities  
  • Support the development of clear governance systems, dashboards and high-quality reports

  • Are a friendly, confident communicator who builds positive relationships with colleagues and external partners, bringing a proactive, can do approach to team working. 
  • Have experience in, or a strong desire to develop within, clinical governance, quality assurance or healthcare improvement. 
  • Are confident working with CQC standards, regulatory frameworks and statutory requirements. 
  • Bring excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills. 
  • Take a collaborative approach and can positively influence and support change. 
  • Are committed to developing yourself and others, with a genuine passion for innovation, learning and improving patient safety.
