About the Role:

• We are seeking a Classroom Support Assistant to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the teaching and learning in our classrooms.  This is an ideal opportunity for anyone who has or who is beginning their career in education.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will provide support to Adult Learners in the classroom, in a variety of subjects
• You will support our Adult Learners in adjusting activities according to their needs, this could involve working 1:1 or with small groups
• You will keep up to date electronic records on learner support and progress
• Attend and participate in regular meetings and training.

Essential requirements:

• The successful applicant will have a good understanding of different learning difficulties and an enthusiasm to enhance the learner’s experience.

• A minimum of Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools or equivalent qualification

• Maths and English at a minimum of Level 2 (or be prepared to undertake training within 12 months)
• Previous experience of working in education would be an advantage although not essential for the right candidate.
