The Personalised Learning College (PLC), part of North Yorkshire Council's Adult Learning and Skills Service, is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Learning Facilities and Asset Officer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring our learning environments, facilities, equipment and digital assets support outstanding teaching, learning and assessment for young people aged 16–25 with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

The Personalised Learning College (PLC) delivers specialist, person-centred programmes for young people with EHCPs across North Yorkshire. Our aim is to support learners to develop independence, confidence, employability skills and meaningful participation within their communities. Through personalised pathways and tailored support, we help young people prepare for adulthood and achieve positive outcomes.
About the Role
As the county wide Learning Facilities and Asset Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating and maintaining learning environments, facilities, resources and digital assets across PLC sites and community venues. Working closely with curriculum teams, SEND professionals, ICT, Property, Procurement and Health & Safety colleagues, you will ensure our environments remain safe, compliant, accessible and fully equipped to meet the needs of our learners.
You will act as the lead officer for facilities coordination, asset management and operational readiness, helping to ensure our resources and infrastructure effectively support high-quality education and personalised learning.
