Associate Director for Financial Management (Deputy Section 151 Officer)
Salary: £108,015 - £118,000 pa

Operational leadership that turns strategy into reality.
Working in close partnership with the Director of Finance, you will provide critical operational and strategic leadership across the finance function. You will take direct responsibility for budgetary control, financial reporting and day-to-day financial management, ensuring the organisation is supported by robust, high-quality insight that underpins confident decision-making at every level.
A key part of your role will be driving the modernisation of finance, embedding business partnering, streamlining processes and championing the use of data and technology.
You will build financial capability across the organisation, develop high-performing teams and play a central role in delivering Dudley’s broader improvement and transformation programme.
You will join a developing senior leadership team united by shared purpose and a commitment to collaboration, working closely with elected members, the Chief Executive and partners to embed a true One Council approach. This means bringing together strong governance, clear priorities and the intelligent use of data, technology and resources.
