We are looking for a dedicated Care and Support Worker to join our team at Longlands Care Home in Daventry. In this rewarding role, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care to older people and those living with dementia, including those staying with us for short-term respite. You’ll support residents with daily living activities, promote their independence and dignity, and help create a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Whether assisting with personal care, encouraging social engagement, or simply offering a listening ear, your contribution will make a meaningful difference every day.

What will you be doing?
As a  Care and Support Worker at Longlands Care Home, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. You’ll support older people and those living with dementia in their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toiletingSupporting residents with mobility and mealtimesEngaging in meaningful activities and social interactionMonitoring and reporting changes in residents’ health and wellbeingWorking collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionalsEnsuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residentsThis role is based in our purpose-built facility in Daventry, which includes both long-term residential care and short-term respite care.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to an  Adults Barred List check.
