We want you to keep HR in our strategic ‘line of sight’, deliver exceptional HR services, and bring astute insight to the full range of organisational decision-making.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic and high performing Senior Management Team, and bring an extensive and detailed understanding of HR management. A local government background isn’t essential, but you should understand the context of working at a senior level in public service. Delivery-focused and credible, with strong communication and influencing skills, you’ll be able to take a wider view and make a material contribution to wider corporate workstreams. Experience of working effectively with trade unions and other partners will be a definite advantage.
