Framwellgate Moor Primary School are seeking to appoint a passionate, professional and highly motivated individual to join our supportive and successful team from September 2026.
We are a welcoming and supportive school dedicated to achieving the best for our pupils.
We are seeking a class teacher with SENCO TLR2b responsibility.
The DHT currently has responsibility for SENCO and we are awarding a TLR2b for additional SENCO support in school.
The NPQ SENDCO qualification (or equivalent) is essential.

SENCO responsibilities with DHT:
• Lead the strategic development of SEND policy and provision across the school
• Be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SEND policy and the coordination of provision for pupils with SEND, ensuring they make strong progress
• Oversee the ARMS provision, supporting pupils with ASD and ensuring high-quality outcomes
• Quality assure SEND provision at all levels across the school
• Provide professional guidance and deliver specialist training to colleagues
• Work closely with staff, parents and external agencies to support pupils effectively
• Ensure statutory requirements within the SEND Code of Practice are met and remain up to date with best practice
• Liaise with external agencies to secure high-quality support and provision
