Help us improve and develop the Adult Social Care and Health services we provide.
At the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, we put local people and businesses at the heart of everything we do, working in partnership with them to provide quality services that are responsive, effective and efficient. Committed to acting with openness, honesty, compassion and humility, we aim to listen and understand in a way that is respectful, encourages involvement and meets the needs of all our communities.
The Role:
This is an opportunity to work on a commercial portfolio in a public sector context, where you will be involved in procurement and property management of the portfolio. You will be the initial point of contact for all Commercial Housing Revenue Account (HRA) issues that arise within Housing Management and will ensure we fulfil our duties as a landlord. This will include ensuring compliance by tenants under Health and Safety, negotiating with telecom carriers for the installation of antenna, as well as managing the installing by third parties of fibre-optic cabling throughout the borough. You will also oversee repair and maintenance to the structure of the buildings and resolve environmental issues. Looking ahead, you will support the Head of Asset management to produce a commercial portfolio roadmap that maximises income.
