This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Data Performance Analyst to join our Systems, Performance and Communities team.

The Role

As a Data Performance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting data‑driven decision‑making within Adult Social Care. You will be responsible for extracting, analysing and visualising data to support performance monitoring, statutory reporting, inspections and service improvement.

Working closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care, Corporate Analytics, Public Health, Communities, IT and Finance, you will develop clear, meaningful insight that supports both strategic planning and day to day operational delivery.  Reporting to the Data, Performance and Enagagement Manager.

Your role will involve:

  • Extracting, cleaning and analysing data from a range of systems using SQL and Mosaic.
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Supporting the production of statutory returns and internal performance reports through Mosaic.
  • Identifying trends, risks and opportunities to inform service improvement.
  • Supporting assurance activity, inspections and audits (including preparation of data and evidence).
  • Working collaboratively with services to understand data needs and translate them into usable insight.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of data processes, reporting tools and performance frameworks.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong experience in data analysis, performance and business intelligence, ideally within a public sector or Adult Social Care setting.
  • Is confident using SQL and Power BI to analyse and visualise complex data.
  • Can translate data into clear, actionable insight for a range of audiences.
  • Understands the importance of data quality, governance and GDPR.
  • Works well with others and can build effective relationships across teams.
  • Is organised, able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience of statutory reporting, inspections or Adult Social Care systems is welcome, but we are keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate strong transferable analytical skills.

What we offer:

  • 32 days annual leave.
  • Flexible working including a hybrid working pattern for a better work-life balance.
  • Generous Local Government Pension scheme includes life cover (3 times of annual salary); and an Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC) scheme to enhance your pension provision.
  • Free employee parking close to the offices.
  • Give As You Earn scheme.
  • Instant Reward Scheme to recognise and reward innovative achievement.
  • Employee Assistance Programme providing counselling, advice and information.
  • Access to discounts and deals with hundreds of retailers, including discounted gym memberships and travel deals.

RBWM values a collaborative and inclusive work environment, foster creativity and innovation in all aspects of its operations.  As an equal opportunity employer, we encourage applications from all backgrounds as we believe diverse talent makes us stronger.
