As Director, you will provide strategic leadership across three key areas: Business Solutions, Creative Place, and Net Zero. You will spearhead the Authority’s engagement with the business community, ensuring Tees Valley is recognised as one of the best places in the UK to start, scale, and grow a business. This will include overseeing first-class business support services, fostering innovation, and ensuring that skills development is embedded in investment and growth strategies.

You will also champion Tees Valley’s commitment to Net Zero, ensuring sustainability and green growth are at the heart of all activity, while leading the Creative Place agenda to deliver investment in cultural assets and activities that make Tees Valley an inspiring place to live, work, and visit.

Working closely with the Mayor, Cabinet, and Chief Executive, you will shape policy, lead strategic partnerships, and represent the region nationally and internationally. As an ambassador for Tees Valley, you will raise the profile of the sub-region and strengthen relationships with business leaders.
