Sheffield City Council is driving one of the boldest digital transformations in local government and seeks a transformational leader as Director of ICT and Digital Innovation. You will lead the delivery of Sheffield’s city-wide Digital Strategy, shaping the Council into a truly Digital Council. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll oversee a corporate function impacting customer experience, AI-powered services, cyber security, and digital inclusion.

This high-impact role demands strong digital leadership, strategic clarity, and expertise in building people-centred digital services. You’ll champion data-informed decision-making, future-ready infrastructure, and innovation while ensuring resilience and safe adoption of emerging technologies as the Council’s Senior Information Risk Owner.
