We are looking for a friendly and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team in a caring and supportive environment for older adults. This is a 16‑hour‑per‑week role, and weekend working will be required as part of the rota.

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and enjoys being part of a team that helps create a safe and welcoming home for residents. Previous care home experience is not essential as full training will be provided, including training to support CQC standards and your ongoing development.

As a Domestic Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the care home remains clean, safe and comfortable for residents, staff and visitors. You will work as part of the team to maintain hygiene standards and support infection control procedures in line with care home regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the home
• Follow infection control procedures and safe use of cleaning materials in line with COSHH regulations
• Ensure domestic equipment is clean, safe and in good working order
• Work as part of the team to meet the changing needs of the service
