An exciting opportunity has arisen for an administrative assistant within the Durham Safeguarding Adult Partnership.

The partnership is a statutory mechanism for overseeing the effectiveness of how well agencies work together to safeguard adults at risk for the prevention and protection from abuse and neglect in County Durham.
 
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
The successful candidate will use and develop skills to provide an effective and efficient administrative support function to the partnership.  Working within a small but busy dedicated unit to help the Durham Safeguarding Adults Partnership operate effectively and efficiently in meeting its vision and objectives.

WHAT WILL I NEED? 
Applicants should have 4 GCSE’s (A-C grades including English Language or Literature) or GNVQ intermediate in Business or NVQ 2 Business Administration (or equivalent business administration experience) together with experience of working in a busy office environment.

INTERVIEWS 
Interviews will be held week commencing 8th June 2026.
