We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Finance Team at Mansfield District Council which is a forward-thinking district within the county of Nottingham and serves a population of approximately 110,000. 

The role of Group Accountant is a strategically important role and is one of three who report directly to the Financial Services Manager. The successful candidate will manage a small team to deliver core financial / management accounting services within the council. The Finance team is focused on provision of accurate insightful financial and management accounting reports to management and budget holders by cultivating strong and effective collaborative business partnering.

We are looking for an accountant with experience in the public and or private sector, a team player who would embrace the challenge of adding value to the council&©s operations both in and outside of finance, with an eye for detail.
