Ribble Valley Borough Council is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking finance professional to lead our Financial Services team. Reporting to the Director of Resources, you will provide strategic financial leadership, oversee the Council’s budget, treasury management and statutory accounts, and ensure strong financial governance. You will also manage our ICT and outsourced Internal Audit services and support the Council’s Section 151 responsibilities by deputising for the Director of Resources when required.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified local government accountant with strong technical and leadership skills to take on a key strategic role within the Council. You’ll work closely with Members and senior officers, helping to ensure the Council continues to deliver sound financial management and effective governance.
