The Role:

Full time, permanent Head teacher at Western Primary School located in Grimsby.

Our motto is "The School that cares" and we have an extremely strong supportive school community which embodies our motto. This is a unique, exciting opportunity for an ambitious leader to make a difference and have a positive impact in shaping the direction of the school.

The school is currently maintained by the local authority but is looking to join a Multi Academy Trust  in the near future.

Our preferred start date is 1 January 2026 or before.  

 What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will be an exemplary leader, teacher and role model with experience of working with children from myriad, often disadvantaged, backgrounds. They will be a dynamic, innovative, proactive and motivated leader with vision and energy which will inspire, enthuse and motivate children, staff and the wider school community.

They must relish a challenge and have the ability to initiate and lead change in a positive way which makes a real difference to learning and, above all, share the school’s commitment to its ethos and motto in ensuring the children are safe and happy and achieve their full potential.
