Hours: 35 hours per week term time only

Contract: Part- time  one year fixed term contract in the first instance

Start date: September 2024

Armthorpe Shaw Wood Academy is a highly popular school, with a warm, caring, friendly ethos where children and the local community are at the heart of our work.  We are passionate that all children should see their time at school as happy and fulfilling with their potential developed to the utmost.

We currently have over 430 pupils on role and with new housing developments locally expect this to increase over the upcoming years.   Our parents and families actively support their children and engage in many aspects of school life, including the wider community events, in which we excel.

We are keen to hear from individuals who are passionate about working with children and can contribute to our team as an outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant. We want someone who has the drive and motivation to raise outcomes for our children and make learning an enjoyable experience. We value those who have a strong team ethos and are self-motivated develop themselves alongside the children.

As the successful candidate you will need to have experience of working with primary aged children and a good standard of written English.
