Your workstyle will be an agile hybrid worker in this role which gives you the flexibility to work from home and from a variety of Council workplaces as well as the opportunity to carry out your work on any days and at any times.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Housing & Litigation Solicitor/Barrister. Working within the litigation and regulatory team of legal services, you will deal with all aspects of housing law on behalf of the Council, as well be involved in more general litigation work, joining a friendly, approachable and motivated team who deal with all aspects of local authority law.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice, representation and advocacy on a wide range of housing matters, and well as being involved in more mainstream litigation work. You will work closely with various departments, including housing and homelessness, and social services, amongst others to ensure that our Council receive the highest standard of legal support.
