WHAT IS INVOLVED?
This is a chance to share your enthusiasm for reading while getting involved in a wide range of activities—from assisting customers with enquiries to promoting library events and community initiatives.

What you’ll be doing day to day:
As a customer-facing role, you’ll need to communicate confidently and provide a high standard of customer care to people from all walks of life.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should hold a NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
We are looking for a strong communicator with great interpersonal skills. You should have a friendly, approachable manner and experience of working with customers in a public-facing environment and have confidence using IT applications.

INTERVIEWS
It is expected interviews will be held week commencing 15th June 2026.
