Join our Housing Needs Service as a Management Support Officer and play a key role in helping our leadership team deliver vital services to the community.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with the Service Manager and wider leadership team, to provide high-level business support, working together effectively to ensure the smooth running of our service. Once fully trained to undertake all aspects of the role, it is likely that there will be a mix of office and homeworking possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and facilitate meetings, forums, and events with key stakeholders; prepare agendas, take and circulate documentation.
- Coordinating correspondence and responses for senior managers including elected member enquiries, complaints, Freedom of Information and Data Subject Access Requests, statutory and thematic reviews for example Safeguarding Adult Reviews.
- Support office systems, budget monitoring, procurement processes, and performance reporting.
- Coordinate calendars, triage and manage incoming inquiries.
- Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and government bodies.
- Providing flexible support across the service in a dynamic multi-disciplinary environment.
About You
You will be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. You’ll be comfortable working independently, handling sensitive information with discretion, and using Microsoft Office tools effectively.
