£26,403 – 28,598 (pro rata)
Permanent, Term time only, part time
Working hours are 3.15pm to 5.30pm as a minimum but there may be a requirement to stay till 6pm depending on demand.

The Governors of Etherley Lane Nursery and Primary School are seeking to appoint an Out of Hours Supervisor to work in our wraparound provision.
Wraparound is open Monday to Friday and begins at 3.15pm each day.
The key purpose of the job is to:
• Safeguard children during after school wraparound.
• Preparing and assisting with a wide variety of activities for the children on site
• Preparing and supervising snack.
You should:
• Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children;
• Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team;
• Have effective communication skills;
• Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children's safety and following the school's behaviour guidelines;
• Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies.

This position is paid whole time with retainer adjustments applied to periods of school closure. You will not be required to work during the school closure periods however your salary in these periods will be adjusted accordingly in line with the retainer regulations as specified in the National Joint Council (NJC) Green Book agreement.
